ASK [Active Schools Karate] Championship Success!
Sunday’s 4th Dundee Active Schools Karate Championship was a resounding success, with children from 27 of the cities schools participating in the event. Karate is an expanding sport here in city and Dundee Active Schools in partnership with SPORT KARATE EAST are delighted to bring this opportunity to children across the city.
This was yet another great day for the coaching staff at SPORT KARATE EAST as we produced all 10-category winners at this year’s Kumite Championship that was held at St. Andrews Primary School.
Karate is spreading throughout the city in partnership with Dundee Active Schools and we are setting up satellite classes in local schools to give a larger number of children the opportunity to participate in the exciting and dynamic sport of karate.
