British 4 Nations

The SAKAI Association had a successful weekend at the 4 Nations!

The SAKAI Karate Associations’ “Little Pocket Rocket” Daisy Hutchison was crowned British 4 Nations Champion [10-11 years -35kgs] at the weekend.

Her performance was outstanding, as Daisy did not drop a single point throughout the course of the championship, they literally could not lay a grove on her!

Next British Championship finalist was Matthew Pratt; unfortunately, Matthew had to settle for Silver [12-13 years +45kgs] on this occasion.

He was very disappointed that he did not achieve his goal, but Matthew showed immense mental toughness and desire to succeed when he was only given three minutes to compose himself.  Before he led his team to battle through the rounds to be crowned British 4 Nations Team Champions! Team members were Matthew Pratt, Dawid Blaszczak, Ally Mitchell
