The coaching staff are very proud of all the Athletes selected to represent the SAKAI Karate Association at the British 4 Nations this weekend in Motherwell.

Over the weekend we achieved 2 x SILVER & 9 x BRONZE, unfortunately, we did not have any of our athletes on this occasion crowned as British Champions.

Silver Medals went to:

  • Liam Collins – Male Junior Kumite -55kg category
  • Eve Watt | Isabelle Wallace | Sophie Hocking – Female Cadet Team Kumite


Bronze Medals went to:

  • Frankie Coulter – Boys Kumite 7-9years -25kg category
  • Connor Mcclusky – Boys Kumite 10-11years +35kg category
  • Eve Watt – Female Cadet Kumite +61kg category
  • Daisy Hutchison – Female Junior Kumite +66kg category
  • Mark Marshall – Male Veteran Kata Open
  • Richard Armour – Male Veteran Kumite Open
  • Frankie Coulter | Lucas Bone | Franklin Herron – Boys Team Kumite 7-9years
  • Kory Coulter | Campbell Stewart | Jacob McGlone – Boys Team Kumite 12-13years
  • Lewis Bryson | Liam Collins | Xander Dunn – Male Junior Team Kumite

Lots of valuable lessons were learned for us to take home and implement in the dojo.
