British 4 Nations Championship

A good solid performance from the SAKAI Association Squad at the British 4 Nations today.

4 – Gold
1 – Silver
2 – Bronze

First up onto the tatami was Frankie Coulter and he set the tone of the event for us taking Gold in the Boys 7 / 9 years -25kgs category.

Next it was an all SAKAI final between Olly Bryson & Kory Coulter in the Boys 10 / 11 years -35kgs category, in which Olly was victorious.

Not to be out done by his little brother Lewis Bryson took to the tatami and produced the ‘standout performance of the championship’.

He was a true warrior battling through the rounds to be crowned British 4 Nations Champion in the Male Cadet -63kgs category.

It was not an easy day at the office for Lewis but he showed both grit and maturity in his performance.

Scott Collins was crowned our forth British 4 Nations Champion of the day in the Boys 12 / 13 years -45kgs category.

We also secured Bronze from Jenna Dailly in the Girls 10 / 11 years -35kgs category and Matthew Pratt in the Male Junior +76kgs category.

For our athletes that did not make it onto the podium on this occasion, reminder sometimes we win and sometimes we learn!
