When you begin your training your age, gender and current physical condition really does not matter. Everyone begins with the basics and then naturally moves towards more advanced techniques. So our students never get bored with karate, we ensure our classes never follow the same old routine. With the wide variety of punches, kicks, sweeps, throws and stretching exercises you’ll never get bored doing the same routines over and over. Plus we add pad work, focus mitt drills and a high cardio vascular pace throughout the workout. Our classes utilise all the latest equipment, keeping them exciting whilst helping you develop your skills. In the studio, there are no age, sex or racial barriers, everyone begins their training with a white belt. The instructor allows each student to progress at their own rate in accordance with their ability. Each student can expect to develop strength, stamina, reaction time, flexibility, coordination and balance. However to fully master the sport, one must also develop the important mental characteristics: patience, humility, self-control, perseverance, concentration, respect.

Our staff are vetted through Disclosure Scotland and are registered with the Scottish Karate Governing Body and carry professional indemnity insurance.
