SAKAI was the top ranked Scottish organisation at Irish Open

SAKAI had a good wee day in Dublin at the weekend, with our small squad. The SAKAI Association was the top ranked Scottish organisation that participated at the Irish Open. This is a great result as we only took a very small squad to Dublin for the championship.

The Two Irish Open Champions who successfully defended their title from last year were Eve Watt in the Girls Kumite 8-9yrs + 29kgs & Billie Ross in the Girls Kumite 12-13yrs -42kgs category [both from Kilmarnock].

The three BRONZE medallists were as follows: Filip Zmudzinski [Dundee] in the Boys Kumite 8-9yrs +29kys, Matthew Pratt in the Boys Kumite 12-13yrs +42kgs [Dundee] and Liam Collins [Kilmarnock] in the Boys Kumite 10-11yrs -34kgs.
