On Sunday 26th November, our small squad travelled to Motherwell to participate in this year’s Karate Scotland National Championship.

SAKAI Association Athletes battled through their category to secure:

• 6 X Gold medals
• 7 X Silver medals
• 7 X Bronze medals

Our young squad secured valuable tatami time as well as the following podium spot after having a tough day at the office:

For our squad members who on this occasion did not make it onto the podium, lessons have been learned and opportunities to improve will be actioned.
