47% of SAKAI Athletes Achieved Podium
The SAKAI Association athletes headed over to Revenscraig Regional Sports Facility at the weekend to complete in the National Kumite Championship.
There were some solid performances from the Squad which saw 47% of the athletes selected achieved a podium place.

5 – Bronze Medallists
- Elle Thomson – Girls Under 4ft.4”
- Billie Ross – Female Cadet Under 54kgs

The Nationals have set up the SAKAI squad well for the end of season event at the Lisbon International Open in Portugal next weekend, which will see over 970 athletes compete to be crowned champion.
This event is of a very high standard and attracts athletes from all over Europe,
