The second Scottish International Grand Prix of 2022 took place yesterday at Revenscraig Regional Sports Facility in Motherwell, with 712 entry’s for the event.

The SAKAI Karate Association had a fair day at the office achieving 25 podium spots:

• • 2 Gold Medals: Frankie Coulter, David Finnie

• • 7 Silver Medals: Bella Gilmour, Jenna Dailly, Alisha Ahmad, Isabella Wallace, Liam Collins, Eve Watt, Eddie Watt

• • 16 Bronze Medals: Lewis Sloan, Olly Shankland, Lawson Watt, Ethan Amderson, Damon Golding, Kory Coulter, Rola Alshlami, Anna-Sofia Jermolenko, Jack Connelly, Campbell Stewart, Scott Collins, Mya Anderson, Eve Watt, Lewis Bryson [X2] Fraser Hannah

The standout performance of the day must go to Rola Alshlami as she make it on to the podium in her debut championship.

All of Rola’s hard work and dedication is starting to pay off.
