Congratulations to all of the athletes selected to represent the SPORT KARATE SAKAI Association at the SKGB Elite National Championship today. We had some solid performances and hotly contested matches, along with various areas of our game in which we can improve.
The performance of the day must go to Nena Neophytou on her return from her 10 years sabbatical to step back onto the tatami by securing herself 2 x Silver Medals.
Overall the SPORT KARATE SAKAI Association achieved 5 – SILVER Medalists and 3 – BRONZE Medalists

We will be working very hard in the off-season to capitalise on areas of improvement which have been identified and we can’t wait to implement these changes and see the enhancements to our athletes’ performances.
