SPORTSCOTLAND “COACH OF THE YEAR” AWARD NOMINATION

I want to say I feel honoured that members of our organisation took timeout of their busy schedule to nominate me SKE’s Youth Development Director “Richard Mallinson” for a SportScotland coach of the year award in two separate categories.

It is a privilege and my pleasure to coach people in the sport that I’m passionate about. I’m truly humbled to have received this nomination and I’m lost for words which is a first for me.    

I’ve got the best job in the world to assist people to grow physically, mentally and emotionally.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for this nomination, but without the mentoring of my coaches; Davie Coulter MBE & Kris Coulter, I would not be in this position today which I want to acknowledge.
