The first Scottish International Grand Prix took place yesterday at Revenscraig Regional Sports Facility in Motherwell, with 718 entry’s for the event.

The SAKAI Karate Association had a good day at the office achieving:

• 5 Gold Medals: Lewis Sloan, Bella Gilmore, Jacob McGlone, Lewis Bryson, Richard Armour
• 4 Silver Medals: Frankie Coulter, Elle Thomson, Eve Watt, Henry Gilmour
• 5 Bronze Medals: Joshua Watt, Jenna Dailly, Alisha Ahmed, Isabella Wallace, Alan Hazel

The standout performance of the day must go to Jacob McGlone as he won every round 9-0.

All of Jacob’s hard work and dedication has for sure starting to pay off.  

So, take a bow young man.
